The year is finally winding down, but unwilling call girl Mia Saunders is still paying off her father's gambling debt. In October she runs a segment on a celebrity TV show, helping a man deal with the aftermath of captivity. Then, in the Big Apple, Mia thinks things are finally straightening out as she works on programs about being thankful. Then, in December in Aspen, while filming segments on local artists, Mia's journey merges into the ending she has been waiting for.
