The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh: A Classic Disney Treasury

About The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh: A Classic Disney Treasury

Among the favorite bedtime stories of Walt Disney's own children were A. A. Milne's tales of a round bear named Winnie the Pooh. Realizing how popular these tales would be with all children, Walt Disney decided that the creatures of the Hundred-Acre Wood deserved to be immortalized in animated film. In 1966, Walt Disney released Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree, the first short film featuring this lovable bear. Soon to follow were two additional featurettes: Winnie the Pooh and the Blustery Day, and Winnie the Pooh and Tigger Too. Disney's Pooh was an immediate favorite, and today he is still one of the most beloved of bears. For the first time, the stories from all the classic movies have been collected together in this gorgeous treasury perfect for sharing. --front flap
